Drive DTCBrand packs
The Ford pack adds ABS and airbag codes, transmission temperature and tire pressures. Other brands are coming soon.
Engine codes, live data, freeze frame, readiness and recalls work on every brand for free. A brand pack adds that brand's extra systems – ABS and airbag codes, transmission temperature and tire pressures. Shop includes every pack.
The Ford pack
The Ford pack covers Ford, Lincoln and Mercury and adds:
- ABS module codes.
- Restraints (airbag) module codes.
- Transmission fluid temperature.
- The four tire pressures.
These need a 2008 or newer (CAN) vehicle, and the vehicle has to answer the request: Drive DTC only shows a value when the vehicle reports it. The tire pressure readings are community-confirmed on a 2013 F-150 and may not answer on every year. ABS and airbag codes are read-only and are never cleared.
Pro does not include the Ford pack. Today it comes with the Shop plan or with a license code that carries it, and it is always on with the demo truck. Buying packs on their own in the Microsoft Store is coming.
Other brands
Settings & plan → Brand packs lists GM, Jeep & Ram, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai & Kia, Subaru, VW & Audi and All brands. They are marked Coming soon, with prices coming soon. All brands will mean every pack, including brands added later.
Note: Brand support is being built one brand at a time. Coming-soon brands and features aren't guaranteed – see the Terms. Brands and features described as "coming soon" are plans, not promises: we don't guarantee that they will be released, when, or what they will support.
Brand packs on a license code
Got a license code with a brand pack? Enter it under Account. A brand pack on a license code can be limited to a number of vehicles, counted by VIN. The Account page shows how many of them are used. Packs bought in the Store are not tied to vehicles. See Activate a license code or coupon.
