Refunds
Store purchases are refunded by Microsoft. License codes are final once activated. Contact us before disputing a charge.
The short version of the Refund Policy:
- Try before you buy: the free version and the demo vehicle show how Drive DTC works with every feature.
- Microsoft Store purchases are refunded by Microsoft, under Microsoft's refund policies.
- License codes are final once they're activated.
- Please contact us before disputing a charge – we want to help.
Microsoft Store purchases
Pro, Shop and brand packs are sold through the Microsoft Store, so Microsoft processes the payment and any refund. Ask for a refund through your Microsoft account's order history. Drive DTC cannot issue a Store refund itself.
License codes
License codes – whether bought from us, from a reseller, or given away – are final once a code has been activated on any computer, and are otherwise final 14 days after they were delivered. Free, trial and promotional codes have no cash value.
Before you dispute a charge
Email [email protected] or send a message from Help & support in the app, and say what went wrong. Most problems, such as a plan not showing on a new computer, have a fix that does not need a refund. See A feature is locked or your plan isn't recognised.
Note: The full policy, including what happens to plans and packs granted to an account and to features that change or end, is on the Refund Policy page. This article does not replace it.
